About the Founder

After nine years of international business development professional experience in China, Tara Joensuu returned to Finland in 2023 and founded Nexus Finland. She is passionate about scaling proven applications and technologies for climate change mitigation, therefore business development and investment facilitation are right up her alley. She has a rich educational background and a broad range of professional experiences gained from her years in China where she worked with EU and Chinese SMEs, Chinese municipal and provincial governments, SOEs and international organisations in the fields of energy, environmental sustainability technology transfer and development and foreign talent collaboration. Since 2023, she has already helped over 15 foreign companies enter and develop in the Finnish market. Her personal expertise is in stakeholder communication, business strategy and project management.
