I help European industrials, investors, and public bodies make better-informed decisions on China — on critical raw materials, energy transition, and EU sustainability regulation.

An unusual combination in Finland:

  • Ten years of operational China experience (2014–2023), working directly with Chinese provincial, municipal and national-level government and SOE counterparts, industry associations, and European technology suppliers in the energy, industrial and environmental sectors.
     

  • Contributor to the EU–China Energy Cooperation Platform, Phase II (2022–2023), funded by the European Union.
     

  • Working languages: English (native), Finnish (near-native), Mandarin (HSK5, professional).
     

  • Advanced coursework in sustainability science, systems change, climate solutions, at the University of Helsinki, UNITAR and the Climate University programmes.
     

  • Founder track record: built and ran an environmental technology consultancy in Hebei, China (2021–2023) before establishing Nexus Finland in Espoo in January 2024.
